My late night crafting friends, Technique Tuesday is being shared later than usual. Today I am sharing how to add ink to an embossing folder for a unique background.

I added Charcoal, one of my favorite new Basic colors.

I used the Joyful Tidings Workshop Your Way stamp set.

A little white twine added a nice touch.

And don't forget the inside and envelope!

Calendars and Fundamental FUN

In preparation for our special for December, the Through the Year calendar kit, I am playing with some other ideas to create more calendars for gift ideas using the cutting and assembly directions from the calendar kit.

Here I am using two patterns of Glacier from the Whimsy Fundamentals with a little Silver Foil paper.

Do you think silver glitter snowflakes would be the perfect accent?

Using the November Stamp of the Month, Through the Year (S1711), I stamped the month and some snowflakes in Glacier ink.

I will add the numbers using Jennifer's Hand Alphabet stamp.

If you pick up the November Stamp of the Month for only $5 this month, you will have it ready for the calendar kit next month.

Grab up the Fundamental Bundles while they are on special. You get the coordinating Complements along with the ribbon pack!! All for only $22.71

Through the Year Subway Art

Are you inspired by others? Gina K videos always get my creative juices flowing. This card is designed based on one of her videos.

It starts out with the months stamped in subway style on the left and embossed with dots on the right. A white daisy card base works perfect for the New England Ivy cardstock front. A small black cardstock mat around the center piece and the circle sentiment adds that pop. I added a 1/4" piece of black between the stamping and the embossed section.

And, of course, you have to add a little something to the inside and envelope.

Several stamps were used to include the Happy Days Cardmaking Workshop Your Way stamp set and the Through the Year (S1711) Stamp of the Month

Celebrate

Happy Birthday

Enjoy, and I would love for you to comment!
