Color My Heart Color Dare Week 274

I am so excited to once again be a part of the Color My Heart Dare Design Team. This is my first week and our colors are Glacier, Charcoal, and Bashful.

My project for this Color Dare is an Impossible Box. I saw a video and, as you will soon learn about me, had to create a Design Space file so I can cut out many, many, many more.

The box is cut in Charcoal with silver foil paper matted Chelsea Gardens Glacier striped pattern paper. A Bashful glitter paper scallop circle is the base for a silver foil matted White Daisy sentiment piece. 'just for YOu' comes from the Chelsea Gardens cardmaking stamp set and Thin Cut bundle as does the butterflies.

The box is finished by coloring the butterflies with the NEW Bashful shimmer pen.

Enjoy and remember you have two weeks to play along, click HERE

  1. Shirley I had trouble with your link, but found your post and changed it in the blog. Beautiful box...love the butterflies against the glacier design paper. I looked up the tutorial to see why it was called impossible box...love it and will use as a future project...believe it was paper pixie tutorial?

  4. I'm curious why this is called an "impossible box"... I love the scattered butterflies. Gorgeous little box for storing some nice, little surprise for someone special.

    1. Alyson, it is all one piece and when you pull up the lid, it opens on the top.
