The paper collection featured for May is one of the NEW Seasonal Expression 2 collections, Beautiful Friendship. There are blues, yellows, grays and pinks, something for everyone and every memory.
In celebration of National Scrapbooking Month, I will be sharing layouts, new and old as we need to be sharing our stories with our families and for future generations. Share the who, what, when and even more, the why! What makes this photo or group of photos so special.
My first project, a layout, shares the beautiful friendship between a dog and his people or in this case my grandchildren.
Comet has been a part of their family before they were born and has welcomed each one. I have two more photos of two more grandchildren with Comet and this layout is ready for their family book. And yes, I shared my handwriting in this one. I added just a few embellishments, the blue flags to pop the color in two of the photos and the plaid border. I added a border of gray hearts with paw prints. I kept it simple, as simple as the love of a child and his pet.
