Each month I create a virtual crop layout kit and for October it features the layout image from the new Close To My Heart Comfort & Joy Image Set.
Paper piecing small pieces is not my favorite so I changed a few of the images so that there would be less small pieces.
Here are the finished cards using From the Funny Farm stamp set. Did you notice the little snail on the envelope? That is one of the small images from this cute stamp set.
A great farm inspired punny stamp set, From the Funny Farm (D1947) is so cute. Using scraps leftover from this past weekend's virtual crop layouts, I created a couple of cards ready to send 'From my barnyard to yours'

Today I am sharing how I created the offset line around the Mickey head for an upcoming scrapbook title page.
I used one of he Happiest Place paper collection leftover pattern papers added a black cardstock border to the White Daisy cardstock where the outline was drawn by my Cricut Explore. I added the black cardstock Mickey head silhouette and the 'magical' title. I will be stamping 'memories' next to the magical cutout and possible the month and year in the bottom right hand corner.

I am loving slimline cards (tall and skinny). Here I created two birthday cards using the leftovers from the Party Time paper collection. I grabbed some Blue Skies leftovers to create the envelopes. Love how so many of the Close To My Heart collections can be used together.
I am loving the new gnome stamp sets in the Close To My Heart Core catalog. I tried a new layout paper technique, bowtie, using some 'stash' retired Hello Pumpkin pattern paper and the Spooky Gnomes Stamp + Thin Cuts Z3782.
I used the bowtie as a border element adding the cute gnomes, a moon, bats, and a cauldron for the Halloween feel I was going for. I will add the title when I find the perfect photos, which may be from an upcoming Halloween retreat -- oh yea~~
My favorite stamp this Monday was my Party Time Virtual Crop optional stamp set. While we create six layouts during the virtual crop, I like to add a little stamping FUN.
There are two interesting Bloom with Grace, featured paper collection, coordinating cardmaking inspired stamp sets. And together I used them to create a card inspired by one I saw in the Close To My Heart consultant's facebook group (another reason to join the CTMH family)
Beautifully simple and definitely not a stamp I would have thought I would like as much as do. Sometimes we have to try new things
